Municipality of Glenboro-South Cypress Notice is hereby given that a vote of Municipality of Glenboro-South Cypress will be taken to elect Mayor and Councillors Ward 2 and 3 from the following duty nominated candidates: CANDIDATES For the office of Mayor / Reeve: Lorilyn Shirley Trevor Drinkwater Charles Radford For the offices of Councilor: WARD 1 Greg Fraser - acclaimed Richard Hunt Tanya Drinkwater Richard Hunt Tanya Drinkwater WARD 3 (1 to be elected) Tracy Campbell Kim Robinson Dale Fisher - acclaimed Ed Bedford - acclaimed VOTING PLACES Voting places will be open for voting on Wednesday the 28th day of October 2026 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at: Raystone Centre, 214 Broadway Street, Glenboro, MB IDENTIFICATION MAY BE REQUIRED BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO VOTE. A person may be required to produce one piece of government-issued photo identification, for example a driver ' s license or passport, or at least two other documents that provide proof of identity. For the purpose of accommodating persons who are qualified to vote, but who have reason to believe that they will be absent or otherwise unable to attend their proper voting place on election day, an advance voting opportunity will be located at Treesbank Community Club, 94901 RD 43 N and will be open on October 19th between 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. For the purpose of accommodating persons who are qualified to vote, but reside at a health care facility, a mobile voting station will be set up at the following health care facility on prior to election day: Glenboro Health Centre (PCH) - October 27, 2026 APPLICATION TO VOTE BY SEALED ENVELOPE A voter who is unable to go in person to the voting place or vote in advance may apply in person, in writing, or by email to the senior election official at Box 557, Glenboro, MB, ROK OXO or email to seegunborosouthcypress@gmail.com.
