Manitoba Government Launches $10 Million Business Security Rebate Program
The Province of Manitoba has launched a new Business Security Rebate Program to support business owners for the purchase and installation of security equipment and repair property damage. The program aims to reduce security crime and promote safer neighbourhoods throughout the province.
The Business Security Rebate Program has $10 million available to provide rebates on a first-come, first-served basis to Manitoba businesses with 75 or fewer employees per location. Eligible businesses can apply for up to $2,500 per location to offset the cost of purchasing security equipment or repairing property damage on or after August 23, 2024.
Municipalities are encouraged to share this information with local businesses to help ensure they can take advantage of the program while funding remains available.
