Working under the Branch Supervisor

30 hours per week @ $11.15/hr
Eight weeks (30 hours per week)
July 3 – August 24

Duties will include (but not be limited to)
– Promotion and Implementation of Summer Reading Program
– Planning, preparing and presenting summer craft & activity programs
– Maintain displays
– Record keeping for summer reading program
Candidate must be:
– A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred
– Legally entitled to work in Canada
– Between the ages of 15 and 30
– Must have attended school full-time during the preceding academic year and intend to return to school, college or university on a full-time basis during the next academic year.

Grounds Maintenance
Salary: $12.00 per hour
Term: 250 hours
25 hours per week for 10 weeks (some weeks may vary based on special events).
Anticipated Start Date: May 22, 2018*
* Student may start part-time evenings in May/June, then switch to full-time hours in July/August.

Under the direction of the Recreation Director, the successful applicant will assist the Recreation District, the Glenboro CDC and various other non-profit, volunteer based organizations with ongoing grounds maintenance such as trimming, mowing, watering, painting and other summer maintenance projects. The applicant may assist the ball diamond maintenance and various duties for the 55+ Manitoba Games.

Museum and Tourism Coordinator
Salary: $12.00 per hour
Term: 240 Hours (July 1, 2018 – August 26, 2018)
30 hours per week

Eligible for students 15-29, returning to school in September. The successful applicant will be working with the Museum Committee and Recreation Director to organize guided tours of the museum, researching and cataloguing of artifacts, day to day office duties, activities for children related to the heritage of the area.
